The Customs Administration of the Czech Republic is a security force and its activities form a part of the customs supervision system in the framework of the single customs territory of the European Union. It implements this supervision on the basis of the uniform customs regulations of the European Union. The Customs Administration performs controls in this area at two levels – within the framework of customs proceedings, and when performing inspections relating to protection of the internal market or consumer protection.
Gofore (represented in the CZ by Huld s.r.o.) has long focused on developing highly reliable software and hardware solutions for fields where safety, precision, and error-free operation are critical. A significant portion of the company’s activities consists of projects for the space industry, including the development of flight software for deep-space missions. In these applications, the designed solutions must operate reliably over long periods under extreme conditions, often without the possibility of physical intervention, repair, or system restart.
Another area is the development of technologies related to GNSS satellite navigation. Gofore is involved in the development of devices capable of detecting GNSS signal interference and spoofing—that is, jamming and spoofing—and subsequently ensuring the acquisition of a trustworthy and “cleaned” navigation or timing signal. This is complemented by the development of devices that provide a highly accurate timing signal for applications requiring precise timing and synchronization.
The common thread among these projects is their use in critical infrastructure and other safety- or mission-critical systems. These are environments where technological failure can lead not only to significant economic damage or mission failure, but in some cases also to the endangerment of human lives. Development is therefore based on high standards for reliability, robustness, safety, and thorough verification of system functionality. In these areas, the principle truly holds: failure is not an option.

Quality gates across the product lifecycle.
Since 2013 Kentigen has delivered more than 150 test systems – validation benches in development and quality gates in serial production. Each gate performs automated functional test, precise measurement and full traceability, so defects stop at the gate, not at final assembly. Our gates test electronic assemblies, cable harnesses, LRUs and complete vehicles.
